STUDENTS RULES AND REGULATIONS

GENERAL CONDUCT ON CAMPUS

  1. Each student admitted to the Seminary is expected to be a Christian example in character and conduct.
  2. Preferring one another is a mark of excellence Christian character and successful minister of the gospel.
  3. Politeness to, and love for one another regardless of age, sex, tribe, or education is necessary Christian virtue.
  4. Unchristian conduct stubbornness, disobedience, lying, use of day fighting and stealing
    by any student would be disciplined.
  5. Every student must appear neat and clean both on and off campus. Female student is not allowed to use wrappers to classes or chapel on week days, except during special

LEAVING THE CAMPUS

  1. No student is allowed to leave the campus at any time without permission.
  2. No student is permitted to leave the campus after 6.00pm.
  3. When permission is granted to leave the campus for any reason, the student must sign out and sign in (showing the time of departure and return). This is applicable to students at all levels.
  4. Conduct yourself in a manner that befits your call and good testimony of the Seminary.
  5. Students are discouraged from buying things on credit.
  6. All students are generally discouraged from leaving the campus every weekend.
  7. Students who wish to leave the campus on Fridays and return to school on Sunday before
    7.00pm. Students are to return from account weekends on Monday evening.
  8. Students who go on weekends are encouraged to go to their churches and minister instead of visiting other churches.

CARE OF THE DORMITORIES

  1. Floors must be clean at all times, and washed every two weeks.
  2. No food is to be taken into the dormitories, classrooms, library or chapel.
  3. Beds must be left neat after use. Students must use mattresses on the beds .Inspection may be made at any time, and discipline will follow any carelessness.
  4. Women are not permitted in the men’s dormitories nor are men permitted in the women dormitories.
  5. All students must cooperate with the sanitary officers to keep the toilet clean after use. The Administration would frown very seriously at any student who defaults.

DISCIPLINARY POLICY (MISCELLANEOUS RULES)

  1. All students are strongly advised to save individual and group money with the bursar.
  2. All students must speak good English at all times .
  3. No vernacular is allowed on the campus except on weekend.
  4. Any write up that will be read by the student in any public ceremony including graduation must pass through the office of the Rector or his representative.
  5. Students are called to be physically neat.
  6. Any student intending to engage a fellow student for marriage should first declare his intention to the Rector who shall inform the Board of Administration. Secret engagements and any other engagement not related to TABS staff or student is not permitted once you are enrolled.
  7. Minor incidents or matters are reported to the General prefect or to the Vice in case he is absent. They should refer serious matters to the Dean of students’ affairs .
  8. Students are called to live in harmonious relationship with one another They should stele any difference among themselves quietly and peacefully.
  9. Students are advised to read all notices on the notice board .
  10. Practices such as sexual immorality, drunkenness, occultism smoking, fighting, false teachings and any forms of gross insubordination shall lead to immediate dismissal .
  11. Lights are off in dormitories and classrooms by 10 pm. And every student is called to go12. No resident student is permitted to be out of campus after 10 pm.
  12. Each dormitory captain ensures that all members of his dorm are present in the dorm before he sleeps off.
  13. No music or noise is allowed in the dormitories.

ATTENDANCE AT CHAPEL SERVICES AND CLASSES

  1. Chapel is held every weekday from Monday to Friday, from 9:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. On the first Sunday of every month, chapel service starting at 4:00 p.m.
  2. All students are required to attend all chapel services and classes.
  3. No bathroom slippers are allowed in the chapel or the classrooms.
  4. Use sandals or shoes. Every student is to attend all class sessions and to be on time.
  5. Absence from school or clams without due permission from the school authorities will attract disciplinary measures

USE OF KITCHEN AND DINING HALL

  1. Both kitchen and dining hall must be cleaned properly after use.
  2. No peelings or other bits of food must be left on the table, floor, or around the compound.
  3. Put waste materials in the places prepared for them.
